The Marine Nationale was instrumental in establishing the French colonial empire and engaging in near-constant conflicts with their European neighbors, particularly the Royal Navy. NB: These are my personal opinions, not everyone will agree."Honor, Homeland, Valor, Discipline." These are still the four tenets that define the Marine Nationale - or "La Royale" - as one of the world's oldest navies. Quick cooldown on smoke but also quick dispersion. Tier 9 and 10 have amazing AP on broadsides, but arguably need IFHE for HE shells. UK - Hit and run specialists, slow top speed but very very agile and quick to accelerate. German - don't really play them so have no clue. Very selfish playstyle (and I say that with Khaba being one of my all time favourites) as except for Grozovoi they don't have very good concealment and don't fulfill the role of a DD very well. Can select a heal instead of smoke, except for Grozovoi that can have both (I think). Russian - mostly gunboats with poor torps but good AA at higher tier. Also have very high arcs but put out so many shells they're still hard to avoid except at max range. The gunboats are the strongest gunboat in game currently but big and slow and not very agile. IJN - strong torp boats, torps pack a punch but torps easily detected and avoided for smaller ships. Good guns, good torps, higher tiers can run radar instead of smoke.įor all rounders USN DD's, jack of all trades, master of none (except the Fletcher, arguably still one of the best torp boats in game), very good AA. The Pan-Asian line is very strong, unfortunately the tier 10 Yueyang, got heavily nerfed and is a shadow of it's former self.
